The SoCal Setup is an independent, evidence-first guide to renting wedding and party equipment in Southern California — real vendor quotes, community voices, and published all-in prices. It is for couples, hosts, and planners who want to compare vendors honestly and avoid the fee-stack trap.

What it is not: a vendor directory, a sponsored placement, or a general wedding-planning site. No ranking here is for sale, and no vendor can buy a better write-up.

How we work

Every guide and library entry is built from community evidence — planning forums, social groups, and vendor price pages — checked against published listings. When the research can't verify something, the page says UNVERIFIED instead of guessing. Prices are dated snapshots from the research day, never presented as live quotes.

How the site makes money

Blunt version: the site may eventually earn from clearly labeled affiliate links on buyable products only — decor, stationery, party supplies.
